So I’ve been asked many times about my Joe Gibken bracelets, and necklace. So here’s my long over due post! :)
First up!
The Blue Bracelet.

Info:
The bracelet is a bit over 11in long, and 2in wide w/ the rectangles.
Its actually a little bit too big on me, but an inch or two less, it would fit perfectly.
The materials used:
Craft foam, plywood, buttons, thumb tacks, hot glue, and mod podge.
Process:
First I cut the craft foam, 3 long strips, and 4 tabs, then sealed them all with mod podge. The next part was rather tedious, I measured out the rectangles for the bracelet, and then used my dremel to carefully out the inside spaces. Next I attached, one end of the 3 strips, between two tabs. Then I threaded each strip into the rectangles, and attached the end between the other two tabs. Next I took thumb tacks (13 of them.) broke of the stabby part, and spray painted silver gluing them to where they go. So the last part is attaching the buttons, and making sure they snap on properly.
Black Bracelet.

Info:
This was pretty easy to make, not 100% perfect, but you can used it to make your own (most likely better than mine.) x)
Materials Used:
Leather strips, floral wire, sculpty, super glue.
Process:
The strips I got were too thick, so I cut them in half. I made the lock part first, making the main body from clay, and used floral wire for the loop. Next I started by twisting the ends of the strips, it helped to hold the twist over a flame to keep their shape. I left a little part untwisted so I could loop it through the lock, and glue it to itself. The once thats finished, just knot the end.
The Necklace.

First, I didnt make the pendant. I actually found someone selling a resin copy of it. (He actually has one for sale on ebay which is ending soon! But send him a very friendly message, to see if he could make one for you.)
Reference if you’re sculpting yours:
It’s a little over 2in high, 1 3/4in wide.
The chain itself I picked up from Michaels.
So thats all, I also have his belts, and chains, but I havent gotten much about them. So I hope this helped guys, and good luck with your cosplays! :3

More GokaiBlue Updates! :3
With AnimeNext right around the corner, I’m hard at work trying to finish my cosplay!
So I’ve picked out my clothing for my outfit, a dark long sleeve and my fitting pair of jeans.
So far I have my necklace, “lock” bracelet, and belt finished. I need to cut the wood for my “blue” bracelet, and do some work on the brown bracelet.
After that, all my accessories would be done with, leaving me the sleeves, and collar of my jacket, and both my weapons.

GOKAIBLUE NECKLACE IS COMPLETE.
Well, it’s been done for a while, I just never attached the necklace to the pendant. x)
I’m gonna repaint it though, the paint seems tacky, so I’ll have to take that off.
Other than that I’m very, very excited. ;)

GokaiBlue Joe Gibken Update!
So I have the main body put together, 8 out of 18 zippers sewed on.
They’re a few some couple handful of flaws, especially around the zippers, mainly because my sewing machine was a bitch, but hopefully not too noticeable.
Taking a break from it for tonight to work on my sword, and gun. Then tomorrow I’ll do the sleeves and collar. Wish me luck guys! >-<;

SO THE ZIPPERS ARE NOW COMING ON THE JACKET.
And how do I feel about this?
I hate it.
I already balls’d it up. -___-
Despite that, I’ll continue to finish it disregard the minor mistakes. :/
What do you guys think so far? :\

Everything is slowly taking shape for my GokaiBlue Jacket! :3
Most of the patterns are cut, I still need to do the collar, and cut the sleeve patterns.
Once I get that finished, I’ll need to measure out the zippers and cut them to size too, and sew them into the jacket.
Wish me luck everyone! ^^; I’ll need it! lol

Progress on my GokaiSaber!
Parts are glue on now, Working on the Key Slot Mechanism
Just need to clean up some parts, paperclay, sand, seal, paint. x)
AJKLDFKKDD.
Waiting for my batteries to finish charging so I can start cutting this wood.
That aside, HELLO TUMBLR I BET YOU MISS ME.
Probably not. ._.;
